In search of the king of the jungle

It was a beautiful summer morning and I was eager to go on an adventure. As a small child, I was fascinated by the animal world, and today was the day I was going to fulfill one of my biggest dreams – to see the king of the jungle, the lion, in his natural habitat.

We went on the road with a group of friends and an experienced guide who took us through the African jungle. The road was arduous, but the view was incredible. I saw elephants, giraffes and hippos, but I was still waiting to see the king of the jungle.

After more than an hour of walking through the jungle, we reached a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a huge rock, and behind it loud rumblings could be heard. I knew immediately that the lion was there, and my heart was pounding in my chest. I waited a little longer and then suddenly I saw him!
